Well, it's not official, but I can feel it in the air. Autumn is coming and I couldn't be more excited! Along with Autumn will come sweaters, pumpkins, leaves changing, hot chocolate, and my favorite BIG bellies! :) My sister and I are both pregnant and are anxiously awaiting the "big belly" phase. As of now, we're 21 weeks and just over the half way hump! Pregnancy is a lot different that I expected. I always saw these ladies with bumps as being SO cute and envious of their built in cuteness. But now that I'm on that side, I'm not feeling quite so cute. Now I see why they say it is the way it is. Big bellies aren't necessarily cute when they're on yourself. Or atleast medium sized bellies, for now. Here's hoping to a change of thought when the big bump comes.
I'm spending my time working as a Piano/Voice teacher for Cary School of Music. I love it! It's great to see the smiles on the kids faces when they finally "get it." I'm also spending a little time here and there subbing for the school system. I need to pick and choose tho, both wears this little body out.
Phil is well into his Fall semester at NC State and loving his gajillions of science classes (what's new?). He's still working at Great Harvest and supplying the family with loads of cookies and bread. We love it!
We found out two weeks ago that we would be blessed with a little girl. Introducing Amelia June Arnold to the world. We're super excited and can't seem to stay away from the baby section in the stores, now that we know what she is. :) She's getting bigger and with it, the kicks are getting stronger. Weirdest feeling in the world!! There's something ALIVE in me!...i love it.
Other big news- the apartment building is going well. For those who didn't know, we're moving into the space above the Arnold's (parents) garage. They are building us an AWESOME apartment. (The awesome arnold apartment arrangment). I love alliteration! haha Anyway, it's moving along and we hope to be in by October. We finally got plans approved, framing done, and on the way to electrical and plumbing. Wish us luck, and a hand if you'd like! ;)
We're busy with our many adventures, and loving every minute of it. I'm SO going to be better about this blogging. So stay in touch and I'll keep you updated.

Pictures!
Good news!! I finally got my wedding pictures uploaded on facebook. This was a BIG accomplishment for me :) I think this may be one of my personal favorites:
I just feel like this shows that particular moment the best- COMPLETE happiness. SO GLAD that we're finally married!!
I love that man!
This week I've been focusing on teaching my theatre I class. It's going great! I feel like the students and I really respond to one another well. We get along and they give me the respect I was SO hoping for!! I work at a really great school- I mean, with the exception of 1 or 2- the students actually WANT to be in the theatre classes. I start teaching Theatre II next week- wish me luck! It's a little more intimidating because I can't really shape these students how I'd like- they've come pre-shapened. Now I have to blend the rough edges and help them BE more! Tricky, tricky... tips are acceptable :)
Off to do more lesson plans- this is my life when Phil's at work. NO ONE can say I'm not prepared for my classes. :)

busy busy busy
Well, we made it through another week or so. But ya know what? Life is good! We don't have a WHOLE lot to report on, just takin it easy. I finally started actually teaching at the school and I love it. I love interacting with the kids and helping them find a love that I have for theatre. Phil is somewhat getting used to his schedule, he's not AS tired anymore. Hopefully that only gets better as he gets a more set-in-stone-schedule.
I think the hardest thing for me now is coming up with what to cook for dinner. Good grief! Whoever decided that was necessary, had a bad idea. I don't mind cooking it- I love that! It's picking out what to make. I just need a list and an endless supply of food. Wouldn't that be the life!?? Currently taking suggestions on meal plans...

The Jobs of Phil
It worked out pretty well for Phil to get his jobs and start them about the same exact time I started student teaching. It's been quite the adjustment for us both though. Phil got a job at Waltonwood- an assisted living facility here in Cary. He works in the dementia unit and actually really loves it- I think all except for the LOCO hours he has to work. He works the 11 pm - 7 am shift. He comes home and sleeps until about 1 and then wakes up, eats a quick lunch, and goes to his SECOND job. He spends his afternoons at Great Harvest Bread Co. He works the front counter, charming everyone into buying bread with his good looks :) (or that may be me) So he's there until 7ish and then comes home, relaxes for a bit and starts the crazy schedule all over again.
I on the other hand wake up and get read to be at school at 6:55 and teach 3 classes until 3ish (until play rehearsals start and then it'll be til 5 everyday). Phil and I see each other from 7 to 10:30. We cherish those few hours together until January. It's tough, especially sleeping alone :( BUT we'll make it work until student teaching is DONE and then I can get a REAL job- fingers crossed!!
I've really been terrible at keeping this blog up to date. But I will be better. haha
Phil and I have recently been called as Nursery Helpers! What a surprise! (not..) Any tips on how to take care of 9 youngins with two other adults who are very controlling and laid back all at the same time? That might have not come out right. But still- any tips for the youngins- things you'd like to see for your kids nursery class? :)
Our apartment finally looks like a little home! :) We LOVE it here together. And STILL love being married. I think my favorite is not having a CURFEW!!!! :)

Our first adventure
Well we're all moved in, but still setting up home. We finally got a recliner so now we have seating in the living room! Yay!! (one chair) And thanks to my amazing father we have bookcases for the apartment for Phil's gajillion books... Today will be spent on putting together one of those bookcases, hanging pictures, and setting up my sewing area. fun fun!!
I'm new to this blogging thing, so I'll try to keep it up to date and full of pictures, once I figure out how to upload on Phil's computer... (keep your fingers crossed!)
That's what's new for us- oh and the lovely task of Job Hunting. Blech!! (keep your fingers crossed on that one as well)
I'll add pictures later when Phil isn't watching over my shoulder. haha
Love y'all!!! :)

For those of you helping :)
We have a lot going on with preparations for the big day, so we designed this site to keep things up to date for those of you who are so willing to help out with the festivities. I've prepared a list for y'all of who is bringing what and who is helping with what for the reception. Again, y'all are just brilliant!!! I love you so much!
THANK YOU!!!!

-Megan Anderson
-Melissa Hansen
-Mary Davidson
-Aubrey Anderson
-Aleesha Bake
-Laura Mahabashyam
Ice cream people :)
-Dyers
-Arnolds
-Antleys
-Rigglemans
-Simpsons
-Our Family
Fruit people :)
-Marie Edmund: strawberries
-Susan Benton: strawberries
-Terri Abbott: strawberries
Help at the reception:
Melissa Hansen, Mary Roth, Megan Smalley, Eileen Sinclair, Nan Riggleman, Megan Anderson, Evelyn Baker
Help setting up for reception:

Our reception decorations are based around an "Americana" style. For example- the star to the right. Just a "down-home-country-feel". Imagine walking into into Cracker Barrel and the feeling you get from that. :) So if you have anything you'd love to donate for the day for
the reception- we'd probably love it.
Things we're borrowing:
-Linda Lawrence: lights and tablecloths
-Terri Abbott: tablecloths and chocolate fountain
-Sylvia Craig: rustic decor
I guess we're still looking for some servingware? Contact my mother if you have any suggestions: sewingay@gmail.com she's pretty amazing. :)
Anyways- I guess to sum it all up, if you're just DYING to bring something or help out with something, the help would be amazingly appreciated. You know if you want to bake bread, make icecream, bring some fruit or goodies? We love it all. :)
I love help!!! :) Seriously, way to be amazing you lovely people in my life! Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you!...maybe after the wedding, haha
